Recipient of the 2022 Doyle’s Guide South Australian Wills and Estates “Rising Star” for individuals practising across wills and estates law matters within the South Australian Legal Market.
Carolyn joined Douglas Hoskins Legal in January 2022 and practices in wills, estates and estate litigation. Originally from Canada, Carolyn completed her Bachelor of Arts in History and Political Science in Canada before obtaining her Juris Doctor at University of Sydney Law School in 2012. After completion of her Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice, Carolyn was admitted as a Barrister and Solicitor in the Supreme Court of South Australia and the High Court of Australia in October 2013.
Prior to joining Douglas Hoskins Legal, Carolyn gained valuable legal experience working across a variety of practice areas at two boutique firms in Adelaide, but she has always had a keen interest in estate planning. At Douglas Hoskins Legal, Carolyn primarily works in wills and estates, and is experienced in estate planning and administration, including wills, testamentary trusts, Enduring Powers of Attorney, Advance Care Directives and probate applications. She has a particular interest in estate litigation and is expanding her knowledge and experience in this area.
